Invitation to participate launching the initiative of “Companies Disclosure of Climate Change”
The Amman Stock Exchange (ASE) and the International Finance Cooperation (IFC) invites you to the “Companies Disclosure of Climate Change” launching initiative event which will be held via Zoom on September 13th at 9:00 am.
This initiative comes In line with the ASE approach in its continuous endeavor to enhance the competitiveness of the Jordanian capital market and the listed companies, through applying the best international standards and practices, including standards related to sustainability, disclosure and transparency, and the importance of companies’ disclosure of their impact on climate change and the opportunities and challenges associated with that. As well as developing awareness and training action plan for the twenty largest companies listed in the ASE20 index to disclose its report on climate change within the sustainability report issued by these companies.
